We are all imperfect...and can 'be kind' for so long, also it's very hard to be kind to people we don,t agree with.

It’s hard to be kind if people have been unkind to you. We need to be civil with those we disagree with and not take the piss/humiliate/make them look small. Can you ever further your argument/message with hating those who disagree? No.

Unfortunately we are all subject to such temptations as envy, slander, hatred, lies etc etc and if we are not conscious of these things being sin then we are easily drawn towards the fishing media headlines which focus on gossip, slander and generally negative stuff. Avoid them!
