All members of the Fab Four have worked on the new song, which will be titled Now and Then. The song was written by John Lennon, developed and worked on by Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr and now finally finished by Paul and Ringo over four decades later.
The show will be fronted by Lauren Laverne and run for an extended time of 45 minutes. The 6 music host will introduce an exclusive UK TV broadcast of Now and Then - The Last Beatles Song, a short from film that tells the story behind the new tracl.
