The BBC have confirmed that one star pundit will leave his Euro 2024 role in order to take a different job.
Fellow broadcaster ITV have also boasted some big names in their line-up, including Ian Wright, Roy Keane and Gary Neville.Legendary England striker Wayne Rooney has provided punditry on several games at the Euros, but he won't be covering any more matches. The 38-year-old agreed to take charge of the Championship club before he flew out to Germany to work with the BBC.
When host Lineker asked Rooney about the excitement of returning to coaching, Rooney said: "The excitement was there today when you see the fixtures."You look through the opening games, your Christmas schedule and stuff so yeah really excited."
