BBC was actually one the first propaganda machines, so it is quite meaningless when they say a ‘mistake’ sorry not buying it. The thing is they are too involved in politics, and it’s outcomes to benefit the company. Free tv license Company will be dead!

A ‘mistake’ would be any other sound clip, of anything else. Or no sound at all. Removing the laughter and inserting a sentence is deliberate. BBC is corrupt.

I stopped watching the BBC some time ago. Some of what they do is ok, but their political coverage is off.
There may have been no intention to deceive but it did. What is missing from the BBC statement is words to the effect that 'we are sorry that we gave this mistaken impression and will work hard not to do so again'.

It's not a mistake, it's deliberate. They can claim it was an error of judgement, in which case they should be held to account. But it certainly wasn't a mistake - it wasn't doctored in error!

Same actors appearing again and again on Question Time and asking loaded questions of political opponents of the Tory party, the Scot Indy vote footage they accidentally edited so it made it look like indy supporters were attacking unionists when it was the other way around.
