MICHEL BARNIER has continued his war of words with the UK over a post-Brexit trade deal ahead of the next round of crucial negotiations.

Michel Barnier has accused the UK’s Brexit negotiating team of wanting the “best of both worlds” by retaining the conditions of being an EU member while leaving the single market and customs union.

He's struggling to accept Brexit.

well stop looking in the mirror MR BARNIER ? stop looking in the mirror

We are so f***ed!

He a barrel of laughs LOL Happy New Year Barnier

Exactly what I want, WTO, who's being spiteful? Even though we've had to put up with EU interfering in British Bexit and General Election, even though you are forcing a deal we don't want Our reality is an independent Britain, not a level playing field Just walk away barnier

The reality is we want nothing to do with the EU…. many thanks..... looking forward to a new dawn....

Not so clever now, are they

Wally

The reality is, for many of us, we want out and are happy with no deal and to go with the wto

No Barnier/EU need to understand we will take full control over our affairs. It’s their intransigence that has made this is a mamouth task!

Brexiteers 'we hate being told what to do by unelected bureaucrats ' Brexiteers now 'Leave our unelected bureaucrat Dom alone '

With hard Brexit, the raisins picking is finally over, for example the access of British banks to the EU market. Brexit Germany EU

We’ll take our chance thanks !! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

The EU should end the negotiations. UK has decided and the EU will be redesigned without U.K. The market is big enough it will be us even without U.K. go well. Brexit UK EU

Britain has gone I am afraid it has lost its leadership.

Our economy is about to have a massive rude awakening before the transition period is over .So we’ve left the EU ,of course they’ll miss our money but collapse ,I don’t think so and we’ll suffer too . There is more chance of the UK splitting than the EU, tough times ahead for all

Britain's chief negotiator is taking no shit off Barnier in Breaking News ..... Professor Stanley Unwin ....

Oh how I loathe this insulting and arrogant prat

Why is it spiteful? This is what we asked for

We know the reality is it's all about our money and how they want to use it. I don't want to pay taxes for countries with worse economies than ours and pay for non-elected bureaucrats wages and lifestyles.

No Eu in fear of financial loss when UK leaves

Bye bye EU 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

We are struggling to contain ourselves waiting to celebrate Boris announcing we have left with no deal. We can then look forward to celebrating the collapse of the EU. Two huge party's just waiting to happen!

Next Generation EU will raise money by temporarily lifting the own resources ceiling to 2.00% of EU Gross National Income. I wonder if Germans realise what they are in for?

How ironic. It's Barmy Barnier and Co who can't accept that the EU is about to become largely irrelevant in the lives of Brits. Brexit will see to that.
