A new chef's table style bar allows mixologists to showcase how they whip up drinks

Nottingham cocktail bar Be At One is set to dazzle when it reopens its doors after a £350,000 refurbishment. The bar, in the basement of the historic Imperial Building in Victoria Street, will welcome drinkers back on Friday, July 5.

Since closing its doors for a makeover, the aim has been to elevate the experience for anyone who steps through the door. The bar, famous for its ice-throwing, light-swinging, napkin-tossing madness, will return with fresh and fabulous features this summer, including a ‘chef's table’ style bar, a selfie booth, an infinity mirror bathroom, and a dedicated area for its cocktail masterclasses.

One of the busiest hotspots in the Stonegate group, the Nottingham site will now be able to welcome up to 250 customers. "It's the ultimate party playground for everything from unforgettable birthday bashes to date nights and after-work drinks," said a spokesperson. At the new cocktail masterclass area, guests can shake, stir, and sip like a pro.

One for the memories, Be At One Nottingham will feature a phone selfie booth, where party-goers can snap pics with their squad to share instantly or take home a fun keepsake. For those who want to experience what it’s like to be the life of the party, guests can book one of the new VIP highlight booths fitted with LED walls. Corporations and local businesses can also join in on the fun as the venue will be available for private hire.
