WOW!!! I’m shocked that a World renowned photographer could fail to portray her subject in a better way.

What the hell has badly lit got to do with it? There’s good photographers and bad photographers. One whose better at composing a picture would help.

To think when I saw the photograph I initially thought, holy shit what an incredible athlete demonstrating the peak of human potential yet there are other people who saw it and said, the lighting is bad, must have been a racist photographer.

You all have to accept the fact that what works for white people most of the time doesn’t work for black people it’s just a face. Everything is revolved around race, no ones “making” it about race when it’s already about race.

Nothing to do with the race of the photographer FFS. Bad decisions during editing and shooting. Leibowitz is an amazing photographer generally, but I do admit the photos do not do her justice.
