Even better, university teachers can dare to dream of once more accidentally writing on a whiteboard with permanent marker. Many have been expressing their deep yearning to get back into the seminar room.

Oh well there's worse things in life - like getting a deadly disease and dying, or worse still contracting a deadly disease and passing it on to a close family member so they die!

People have been denied relatives they deserved. The students will get over it and have other memories. Life is not a place you get what you deserve. Probably time they learnt that.

Same as it ever was, during times of crisis, example WWll etc, student don’t have the same rights of passages, they have an unique experience in history and their own different experience for better or worse. Stop whining.

First world problems...

So are kids who grow up in war zones. We can't argue with a virus and say 'back off for a few weeks so the kids can party and have memories they deserve' People deserve to feel safe from a virus that could kill them before kids deserve party memories, dontcha think?

Students have many reasons to be angry. Baby boomers (Trump being the most perfect case) were spoiled by their parents who are now dying from Covid because their spoiled children have destroyed nature and indebted their societies so that a pandemic can wreak havoc.
