AN eight-week baby girl was found dead with "a number of broken bones" - with a couple arrested over her murder.
The little girl was found unresponsive at a home in South London on April 26 before being declared dead. A 24-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in May, and later arrested on suspicion of murder.A Metropolitan Police statement today said: "A post mortem scan of the child showed a number of broken bones.
"On Friday, 3 May 2019 police arrested a 24-year-old man [A] and a 21-year-old woman [B] on suspicion of grievous bodily harm."Following further testing police further arrested [A] and [B] on suspicion of murder."Officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command investigate led by Detective Chief Inspector John Massey.
