I've an invisible disability so stop calling me 'able-bodied' - it's offensiveThe phrase is increasingly marginalising non-physically disabled people like me. I just called them 'ableds'. I am able-bodied & also autistic. The whole subject of disabilities is fraught with danger, dare to argue if you have to, & expect attacks from all sides. What is important is that a clear definition is understood by the general public, but only disabled people's voices matter. I think it would be better to retire Metro writers. I would have considered using the word journalist. But I thought that might be genuinely offensive to people who actually practice journalism. Grow up.
