Australia has entered its first recession for 29 years after the economy went backwards by 0.3% in the March quarter, with the impact of bushfires and the coronavirus ending the nation’s extraordinary, uninterrupted run of economic growth.

A bad decision towards China does not help either. We should have friends around the world and not become a puppet for the US. While Mr Turnbull will be enjoying his lavish entitlements after his mandate we will still be suffering from his naive action towards China.
