The Attorney General for Northern Ireland has warned the public and media about the consequences of sharing commentary on social media discussing the court case facing Jeffrey Donaldson.

Contempt of court issues are when someone risks unfairly influencing a case and jeopardise someone receiving a fair trial, and offenders can be fined or sentenced to a period of imprisonment.
