A nine-year-old girl who was diagnosed with a deadly illness aged just ten months had to battle through gruelling treatment - but now she is healthy.
She's now happy and healthy and a pupil at Old Hall Primary School in Bury, as well as a big sister. She loves swimming, gymnastics - and her grandad. "I am pleased to say the book, which I have initially had to self-publish, has just received approval from the hospital's charity trust. "I didn't want to meet the new 'ward family' because it sadly meant only one thing. But that family helped keep us sane, and gave us all a sense of belonging and the strength to carry on.
