Asda launches 'first of its kind' drive-through flu jab service

Supermarket Asda has launched a free NHS drive-through flu jab service for eligible people at 13 UK stores.

People regarded as non-vulnerable can get jabs for £8, which Asda claims is the cheapest on the market. Asda says the initiative, which began on Thursday, is the first of its kind in the UK. But other retailers, including the Boots and Lloyds Pharmacy chemist chains, also offer jabs.flu jabs have been limited by pharmacists and health clinics due to high demand.

Asda - Because we've found a way to profit from the proles more than ever

£8- and free for NHS staff/vulnerable whist making a profit. At the same time the NHS cost is £34- per jab without full overhead. We wonder why union controlled monopolies run for the staff always fail and always have.
