More testing means more cases identified - it doesn't mean mortality rates are rising. In fact it might be indicative of herd immunity which is to be desired isn't it?

Daniel Andrews is fighting to save lives. His clear intent is the safety of all Victorians even those who doubt his motives. IStandWithDan

California sees two deadliest days since pandemic began as Covid-19 cases riseState has now reported 296,500 infections and 6,700 deaths, while Newsom said seven-day average topped 8,000 new cases a day It’s ok! Trump signed a bit of paper making drug trafficking illegal! 😱 that’s gonna help. And still a lot of Americans are refusing to wear a mask or practice social distancing. Coronavirus near me: are UK Covid-19 cases rising or falling in your areaLatest updates: how has Covid-19 progressed where you live? I'd prefer to see a map of the number of Covid hospital admissions, per head, for different areas. This is the best measure of current infection. The increase/decrease percentages are of no value in assessing risk. This is a nice map. Important to note that quite a lot of this can be caused by 'noise' in the number of cases. With small numbers, the increase in positive tests from say 0 postitive tests to 1 positive test (e.g Armagh) looks scary on this map but may not be cause for alarm.
