This is music to my ears – and not just because I’m a travel writer who’s been grounded by this awful pandemic. Last March, in a moment of possible madness that feels like years ago now, I signed up to become a volunteer in the Oxford vaccine trial, and so I have a swell of emotions as I watch the headlines roll on.
