The jail sentences given to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes' killers were too lenient, the attorney general says.and Arthur's father Thomas Hughes got 21 years for manslaughter.
Arthur, six, died from an unsurvivable brain injury inflicted by Tustin in the hallway of their West Midlands home. The fatal assault happened on 16 June 2020 and the schoolboy, whose body was also covered in 130 bruises, died in hospital the next day.Emma Tustin took a photo of Arthur as he lay dying and sent the image to Thomas Hughes
"I understand how distressing the public have found this case, but it is my job to decide if a sentence appears to be unduly lenient based on the facts of the case.
Good hope its natural life
Neither one of these animals should ever see the light of day again! I only hope they get what they deserve from the other prisoners.
Thankfully. This was such an abhorrent crime which took this young boys life, the sentencing in no way seems commensurate with the crime.
