A man has been arrested after armed police were called to a block of flats in Dundee following an alleged 10-hour stand off.
Emergency services raced to Charleston Drive - close to Ninewells Hospital - following reports of a 'disturbance' in the early hours of Wednesday morning.Uniformed officers threw up a cordon around the block with a number of constables standing guard. A statement from the force said: "Around 1am on Wednesday, 20 March, 2024, officers received a report of a man causing a disturbance on Charleston Drive, Dundee. Top news stories today "A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing."
