ARGOS customers have been locked out of the retailer's website after it suffered a technological glitch on Thursday morning.

Argos had warned customers yesterday that its website would be unavailable from midnight until 5am on Thursday, April 2. Customers are met with a message which reads: "Sorry about this. We're just fixing something. Please bear with us. We'll be back soon."

GarySavery They shouldn’t be ordering. While everyone is safe in their homes. Selfish customers go to the store and buy NON-ESSENTIAL items, pilling up at the stores and putting the employees at risk. I’ve seen customers buy drawers and dart games. Big shame

bq and screwfix are the same company so their policy would be the same .

on one hand people want a payment break from their cards and on the other they are spending like there is no tomorrow .

Returns are cancelled indefinitely and people trying to return warranty items will 'have a period of grace' as per 'When their isn't a pandemic. I had to experience this yesterday.

Maybe people should stop buying non-essential things, such as trampolines. It just shows what a laughing stock our country is, can’t even stay inside and stop the spread of the virus, would much rather go to Argos and buy the stupidest things!

really essential 🤓
