The Lord of The Rings blockbuster TV series on Amazon Prime Video has put forward an unusual request for ‘hairy hairy people’ with ‘wrinkles and lots of them please’ to play the horrifying orcs., but casting agents have now confirmed the prequel will include the beasts, which in the Peter Jackson trilogy resembled mutilated zombies – they’re basically the stuff of nightmares.
Amazon is hoping to find people of ‘all ages and ethnicities’ under 5ft or over 6ft 5ins who could be easily mistaken for the creatures, seemingly cutting costs on the make-up department‘Do you have a few wrinkles? Have you been out in that sunshine? Is your face a little ugh?’ the advert pleaded.Filming is expected to kick off in New Zealand in 2020, but with a population of under 5 million, it’s believed producers are struggling to find the right look for their army of orcs.
Although, Justin Smith, 41, is a native Kiwi who saw the online advert and thought he’d be the perfect fit.after losing all his nashers in a surfing accident.
