Following the news of Lilibet’s christening, Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson confirmed in a statement that both their children will now indeed be known as Prince and Princess: “The children’s titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became monarch. This matter has been settled for some time in alignment with Buckingham Palace.
However, it is still not clear whether Archie and Lilibet will be styled as HRH – His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness – although the 1917 letter patent entitles them to use the title. Prince Harry and Meghan have retained their HRH titles but no longer use them, following their decision to step back from being senior members of the royal family in January 2020.
While royal protocol entitles grandchildren of the monarch the right to HRH titles, they are not always used. For example, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, decided that their children, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and James Mountbatten-Windsor, Viscount Severn, could choose whether they wanted to use them at the age of 18.
Princess Lilibet was christened by the Right Reverend John Taylor, the Bishop of Los Angeles, in an intimate ceremony at the family’s home in Montecito, California. The King, Queen Consort, and the Prince and Princess of Wales are believed to have been invited to the christening but were not in attendance.
Archie look like his grandfather Prince Charles.
This is absurd! As much as I respect the royal family, I believe Harry's children should not get a royal title after all the negative attitude towards the royal family. The kids are never going to live in Britain so what is the point? The late Queen should of changed the patent
Whats wrong with his eyes Kid looks blind.
