For those who haven’t read Jane Austen’s 1815 novel of the same name, or watched one of the many films and shows it has inspired,follows the misadventures of Emma Woodhouse , a well-to-do and well-intentioned young woman set on playing matchmaker for the singletons in her English village – starting with her naive friend Harriet Smith and social-climbing vicar Mr. Elton .
