Boxer Anthony Joshua was left fuming after his second defeat to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia

After the defeat, Joshua threw the belts out of the ring, before returning to shake hands with his opponent, telling him: “I don’t care about strong, I have to have skill.“You’re not strong. How did you beat me? How? Because of skill.“I had character and determination. Where’s the mic?”“"I ain't no amateur boxer from five-years-old that was an elite prospect from youth.

"This guy to beat me tonight, maybe I could have done better, but it shows the level of hard work I put in so please give him a round of applause as our heavyweight champion of the world."Two judges scored the fight 115-113 and 116-112 to Usyk. The third judge gave it 115-113 to Joshua. Joshua has now suffered back-to-back defeats against Usyk, with the champion retaining the WBA , WBO and IBF titles he won in London last September.

Petulant child quite embarrassing.

Mike Tyson boxed with Holyfield twice he is the only one Mike couldn’t take down. They had two matches Mike lost both.

It’s game over for AJ now.

Why was he mad tho? I don't get it

With anthonyjoshua showing his true colours and petulant behaviour, will JDSports and UnderArmour finally stop sponsoring this bad role model for the UKs youth. He and his entourage are not nice people who promote a negative culture that sports world doesn’t need UsykJoshua2

Usyk vs. Joshua 2 round by round updatesOleksandr Usyk will defend his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight belts against former champion Anthony Joshua on Saturday at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The bout is a rematch of a Sept. 2021 fight that saw Usyk control the rounds from the opening bell en route to a unanimous decision on the scorecards (117-112, 116-112, 115-113). It was just the second defeat for the Brit in 26 professional fights to that point. Will Joshua find redemption in the Middle East similar to his rematch win over Anthony Ruiz Jr.? Or will the Ukrainian once again assert his dominance and keep his unblemished record?Heavyweight title contender Otto Wallin says he's picking Usyk on Saturday night.“It's hard to go against Usyk just because of what he did in the first fight,” Wallin told The Athletic. “It wasn't like it was a complete shutout, but Usyk was of course the better guy. Joshua looked like he was just fighting to survive and he didn't really go for it. It looked like a training session. That has a lot to do with confidence and it seemed like Joshua didn't want to get hit and risk being knocked out. Unfortunately that's a part of boxing and heavyweight boxing.“You always want to have good defense, that's very important, but at the same time you can't just go in there and expect to take no punches. You got to be ready for that and have an answer for it. You can't fight not to lose. You got to fight to win and I think that's a really big difference. When you fight not to lose, you're defensive, don't want to get hit and not really taking any risks. With a guy like Uysk, you need to take risks and be aggressive to take him out of his game plan. If you don't, he's just going to be brilliant and do his thing.”The Athletic will have full coverage of the mega-fight.
