Ant McPartlin has become a father for the first time after his wife Anne-Marie gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, but the ITV star is reportedly feeling 'anxious' about his return to work

The beloved Geordie presenter, aged 48, has just become a dad, announcing the birth of his son on Tuesday with wife Anne-Marie.

Anne-Marie delivered their bundle of joy at the prestigious London Clinic, a favourite among royals like King Charles and the Princess of Wales. He's on paternity leave now and will be back on our screens for the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals. Ant was last spotted at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday night with his long-time pal and co-host Declan Donnelly, reports the Mirror.

"Ant's decision to take a break from Saturday Night Takeaway and prioritise fatherhood is a smart move. Becoming a father is a life-changing experience, and it is natural for him to want to spend quality time with his son and adjust to his new role as a parent." she divulged.
