The new series was thought to be their 'passion project' 😔💔

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly's brand new passion project has sadly been axed after BBC bosses decided it wouldn't go ahead.

They were the creators and creative consultants of the car-based project, which was thought to have been commissioned to BBC2. Street Car Showdown was "a passion project" for the presenting pair, claimed the insider, "as they'd had an interest in 'car modders' since they were youngsters." "They couldn’t actually appear on the show due to their contractual obligations with ITV, but they were the show’s creative consultants."

They have also just confirmed that they will be launching a huge new Saturday night gameshow on ITV called Limitless Win.
