Ant and Dec dealt huge blow as ITV 'axes' show despite huge ratings

TV favourites Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have been hit with disappointing news as ITV has decided to 'axe' one of their popular shows, despite it pulling in impressive viewership numbers.

Despite the show's popularity, ITV sources suggest that there are no immediate plans for a new season of the South African adventure. Top TV news An ITV spokesperson confirmed that the spin-off show was "one of the biggest entertainment shows of the year", attracting up to 5.2 million viewers during its run. However, they specified that there were never any firm plans for the show to return in 2024.
