Fans of the crunchy treat, with wafer biscuits and a light whipped filling dunked in rich milk chocolate, noticed that shops have stopped stocking the iconic chocolate bar

The decision to stop making Milky Way Crispy Rolls has left fans of the crunchy snack devastated and could mean it disappears from shop shelves forever. Mars Wrigley UK, the company behind the treat, probably didn't expect such a strong reaction from disappointed chocoholics.

Another lamented: "I am craving Milky Way Crispy Rolls it's actually a joke, why did they get discontinued." A third declared: "Milky Way Crispy Rolls have been discontinued in the UK. The end of an era." A spokesperson for Mars Wrigley UK confirmed the news to The Sun and said: "While Milky Way Crispy Rolls are currently in a galaxy far, far away we’re pleased to offer many delicious alternatives such as Milky Way Magic Stars, Maltesers, Mars and of course, the traditional Milky Way."
