Surprising suggestion. Doubt he could get back to his best. Even with my first (metal on metal) hip (which collapsed after several years) I could never risk tennis at my timid level. Dislocation is a very real risk. Surgery could ave his awful pain though to enjoy family life

His body is worn out from overtraining since childhood, pushy Mummy and Daddy are the problem, he has everything, so why not retire at the top and enjoy a life for once? He could be a good coach to female tennis players, but isn't he too introverted to be a great coach?

Could have been saved by fixing his ankles when he was young......
