Andy Murray rolled back the years as he won an epic point against Alex de Minaur.
The veteran star was competing in the China Open round of 32 where he faced an enormous test against the world no.12.However, it wasn't enough as he was eliminated in the round of 32While Murray ultimately fell to defeat over three sets , the 36-year-old did offer a brief flashback to his prime years.
After successfully returning the serve of De Minaur and exchanging a rally, Murray was put on the back foot when the Australian played a delicate drop shot over the net, forcing him to sprint forward to make the return. After doing so successfully, De Minaur then played a lob over Murray's head towards the back of the court, however the three-time Grand Slam winner somehow managed to keep the point going with an improvised, over-the-shoulder effort.
The two stars then exchanged more shots, before the 24-year-old made an unforced error by playing a seemingly simple shot into the net, handing Murray the most unlikely of points.
