Any time a player gets injured, stadiums quieten down but the deathly hush that descended on Centre Court is surely the quietest Murray has ever heard a full stadium – because they knew this was not just Murray’s Queen’s campaign ending, but possibly his Wimbledon one too. “All tennis players, we have degenerative sort of joints and stuff in the back, but it’s all predominantly been left-sided for me,” Murray added.
