Whatever you might think of the artist attempt to create a part of Diana in a sculpture is someone's opinion. Her sons wanted it. If they would have any doubt, it would not have been unveiled, I think.
It is truly awful and should be pulled down. It should never have been done in the first place.

My worthless 2cents would be to have her head tilted upwards signifying hope, make her face and body look like Diana, and not have the little girl look like a 50% reduced copy of an adult woman. The boy is generic enough to be o.k.
