Mark Serwotka, general secretary for PCS, said: “We know our members’ action could inconvenience travellers who plan to visit their relatives over the festive period, but our members have been placed in this situation by a government that won’t listen to its own workforce. The first road strikes will take place on 16 and 17 December in the North West and North East plus Yorkshire.
The Eurostar will also be affected by walk outs, with RMT members working as security guards set to strike on 16, 18, 22 and 23 December after refusing a below-inflation pay offer.Teachers in Scotland will walk out on 7 and 8 December, dependent on the area they are working in, in a strike over pay.

When you have lost your entire business to private companies because of this , so be it!!!!
