Glasgow Airport was closed temporarily today after an ‘incident’ was declared on an inbound flight.
All flights to and from the airport were stopped for around 20 minutes with operators confirming the runway was not operational.It is believed that there had been an emergency on the inbound flight and emergency services have now been stood down. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: ‘At around 10.25am, Police Scotland was called after a security alert was reported by the crew of a flight at Glasgow Airport.
