It's been reported that viewings have dropped for Football Focus, which has led to ex presenter, Dan Walker, sharing a heartfelt message on Instagram in support of the show

Current Football Focus host Alex Scott and the show's former presenter, Dan Walker, have been involved in a public dispute regarding the future of the programme.

"It's hard to see Football Focus struggling. I loved it growing up and it was an honour to present it and I still miss it," he wrote. The premise of the sports programme is to look at the latest news from the English and Scottish football scene, including all levels of the game. "I’m not saying you haven’t Alex. It’s a saturated market and it’s hard work every week. I hope you have a good show today," he penned.
