SHOPPERS were left disappointed when Aldi's popular hanging egg chair sold out "within minutes" this morning.1The Specialbuy - which is not available to purchase in store - went on sale on online at 8am this morning.
There was a virtual queue to access Aldi's website when the chair launched today as eager shoppers tried to get their hands on the coveted garden furniture.One bargain hunter said the chair "sold out in one minute", with another adding that they were unable to purchase the item despite being "on the site at 8:02".
Another Aldi fan said the hanging egg chair had "sold out after I waited", while one shopper said: "14753 people in front of me in the queue! Don't think I'll bother".
