as well as a pond and even more woodland and they are making the most of it. However, Forest School teacher Steve Warwick is ‘incredibly excited’ about his project of developing the vast area even more.
“The land at St Anne’s and St Joseph’s is incredible – it’s such a benefit for the school to have this and the idea is to get all the children outdoors as much as possible and appreciate nature even more,” said Steve. “There are climbing frames and a vast array of outdoor activities already on site but, over the next few months, we hope to build a fire pit, a poly tunnel, develop the pond area and more. We have planted more than 1,000 trees and developed the hedging and the pupils love it.
“We want to get the most out of it as not many schools in the area have such an amazing area of land to make use of.”
