Academy Governor Whoopi Goldberg they won't take Will Smith's Oscar

Whoopi, a serving Governor for the Academy's Actors branch, insisted on Monday: 'We're not going to take that Oscar from him'. Will has since apologised for slapping Chris on stage at the Oscars after the comedian joked about Jada's hair.

Will, 53, wrote on Instagram: 'My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable'. He apologised to Chris and to the Academy, plus 'the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world'

MailOnline If you watch the video you will see Will smith laughing at the joke initially but once he saw his wife's unhappy face &he realised she saw him laughing he had to show her he's sorry he laughed by over reacting & getting up and slapping Chris Rock. He should have another Oscar!
