A52 Clifton Boulevard live updates as crash causes long delays during rush hour

Boulevard is partially blocked eastbound following an accident that took place after the A453 Clifton Lane, at the Silverdale Island.are in place as a result, with drivers asked to allow extra time for their journeys. A number of bus routes are also affected because of the incident, Nottingham City Transport has confirmed.

A statement from Nottingham Travelwise posted on X reads: "RTC on Clifton Boulevard A52 southbound, close to the Clifton Lane A453 slip road. This is leading to long delays on the A52 back to Middleton Boulevard and on the A453 Queen's Drive back to Riverside so please allow extra time for your journey or use an alternative route."

NCT added that its Navy 48 and 49 and Grey 53 buses are currently delayed. Traffic monitoring website Inrix confirmed congestion is in place to the QMC Island and on the A453 Queen's Drive back to Riverside.
