Because things r made 2 break so u buy more Once upon a time things were made to last Like my fridge freezer seal has gone but u can’t just buy new seal it’s is part of the door so u need to buy a whole new door. I find it’s discontinued so a whole new freezer instead 🙄of a seal

Maybe build things to last? But that doesn't work for 'the economy'. Best, instead, to have a thing last 2-3 years, pack up and force people to purchase a new item.

Built-in obsolescence.

The RightToRepair would be a good start.

Give it elonmusk he’ll probably build a spaceship out of it!!!
