Some young girls were raped by family members and the church! It was mostly rape because the mothers were underage!

Back in the 50s, some very young unmarried Ladies who became pregnant were put into mental homes 😡, terrible, some developed mental problems because of where they were.

Some were dismissed by employers leaving them without income. Sex discrimination against women for becoming pregnant. I doubt they would ever sack a man for becoming a father. Some mothers became ill and died as a result, leaving orphans to be put up for adoption.
