4 Vogue Editors Get Zoom-Ready With Gucci Beauty

’s new Make-up Mondays series, once again Gucci Beauty’s playful make-up offering, developed by creative director Alessandro Michele, helps provide a new approach to our new normal. Zoom dates and work meetings have presented fresh challenges to our tried and tested routines, but the beauty of make-up is its ability to transform and empower us to face whatever is thrown our way.At the beginning of lockdown came working on Zoom – which brought with it the inescapable video-selfie viewpoint.

The texture is silky and smooth, and gives coverage without feeling like you’re wearing anything – a winning formulation. I’ve also been using the face gloss on my eyelids and wearing my hair in a sleek ponytail for a pared-back, pulled-together look. My virtual face is complete.Throughout lockdown I’ve clung on to my skincare regime for a sense of normality, but with my make-up routine, I’ve managed to be a little more playful.

I also add the Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel to give my skin a matter finish, making my lips and eyebrows bolder.Despite currently working only a few steps from my bed, I still manage to be late for my morning Zoom call almost every day, so a quick and easy day look is essential.
