Mollie Quirk is a curvy fashion blogger, body positivity advocate and aspiring journalist. She is in her early-twenties. Mollie strives to promote self love, equality, diversity and the reclaiming of the word 'fat'!
I've got to say, I wouldn't call her fat and I think she's a lovely looking lady. Good on her. I have a very young niece and I worry about the world she's growing up in. Instagram etc can cause mental health problems.
I don't think people should be mocked for being overweight, but being overweight is not healthy and should not be promoted.
Coronavirus is reclaiming fat people. You need to lose weight, or the likelihood is that you will have worse effects from the virus!
Sometimes being fat isn’t your choice
Which is great. The mental health benefits of such acceptance may be significant. But you'd also need to accept that 'fat' reduces your life expectancy and can limit the thing you are able to do in life
Better to remain friends
Just gonna go out on a limb here and say, I'm 20 lbs overweight and it bothers me physiologically (short of breath) and aesthetically ('is that ME?!') without for a moment venturing into whatever anybody else thinks of me.
OMG when will this type of story stop? Can every blogger call themselves a negative word and claim it’s positive
