One user reckons it'll save him over £100 a week in taxi fares.

Councillor Richard Overton oversaw the launch of the new Express 100 service

Running from 4.50am to 11pm seven days a week, the service will cover the continental shift patterns often utilised by factories and industrial units in the manufacturing centres. Deputy leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, Richard Overton said: “This new service is wholly subsidised by the council to help people get to work cheaply and quickly.

Will it be on time though? The buses in Telford can be so unreliable. It’ll be great if it actually works though.

It's OK the council will take it from the Brambles residents to fund this. Public enquiry needed into this council.

Try getting a taxi in Telford between 0800 - 0900 as a lot of them are on lucrative school runs I believe. I hope the council release take up / profitability figures at some juncture, as I witnessed the 100 bus at 8:25ish on Hortonwood with NO passengers aboard 🚌

and the the taxi driver is out of business.
