Six Programme Awards and four Creative Achievement Awards were given out at the Star Awards 2024 Gala Night on Monday ahead of the grand ceremony on Apr 21, which will present Performance and Popularity Awards.
Local drama All That Glitters clinched three of the 10 awards, including Best Drama Serial. Meanwhile, its director Wong Foong Hwee and scriptwriter Ang Eng Tee snagged Best Director and Best Screenplay , respectively. The radio programme used to be The Breakfast Quartet but changed its name after Cai Rongzu joined Mark Lee, Chen Biyu and Marcus Chin in the line-up.Meanwhile, Best Entertainment Programme was claimed by Foodie Trio, while Best Infotainment Programme was awarded to Inside Crime Scene S2.
