JUST IN: 2 quarantine order officers, 2 public healthcare sector employees among 741 new COVID19 cases reported today; 6 new clusters identified

SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 741 new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Thursday , taking the country's total to 20,939.

A total of 725 of the new cases are work permit holders residing in dormitories. Nine are work permit holders residing outside dormitories.TWO HEALTHCARE WORKERS AMONG COMMUNITY CASESA 43-year-old Singaporean, who had no recent travel history to affected countries or regions tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. He worked as a radiographer at the community care facility at Singapore Expo prior to his admission to hospital.

The other healthcare worker, a 33-year-old Singaporean who had no recent travel history to affected countries or regions, tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.SIX NEW CLUSTERS Six new clusters were reported: 5 Sixth Lok Yang Road, 98 Kaki Bukit Industrial Terrace, Sungei Kadut Avenue, 5 Tech Park Crescent, 3 Tuas Drive 1 and 52 Tuas View Square.
