JUST IN: Singapore reports 741 new COVID19 cases; 5 are Singaporeans or permanent residents: MOH

SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 741 new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Thursday , taking the country's total to 20,939.

The vast majority of these are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories, said the Ministry of Health in its daily update of preliminary figures.Five of the new cases are Singaporeans or permanent residents. Further details will be shared later in the day, said the ministry. More than four weeks have passed since Singapore rolled out elevated safe distancing measures as part of a"circuit breaker" period to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Up till now I still do not understand why the affected foreign worker numbers not staying in the dorm is not included in the list under community? Where are these guys staying? Coz there are so many of them managing the HDB flat cleaning. Are they staying at HDB residentials?

Please make TraceTogether mandatory for all employees. Otherwise it is difficult for employers to ensure/enforce. Employees will say MTI never say compulsory. Yet MOM says employers have to ensure employees have TraceTogether.
