PropertyGuru published its first Singapore Consumer Sentiment Study for 2024, revealing that 85% of renters found rental prices too high in the last two months of 2023. Many believe that more can be done to lower high rental prices .

However, 40% of Singaporeans expressed optimism over the HDB housing policy tweaks announced last year. The study also showed that 69% of respondents expect rental prices to increase further.
