SINGAPORE: The National University of Singapore said on Saturday that it will convene a committee to review its current disciplinary and support frameworks, after a female undergraduate took to social media to call for tougher action against a student who filmed her having a shower at her hostel.

Ms Baey said she tried to appeal for a heavier sentence, but was told by the investigating officer"You just have to accept the outcome" or"go to NUS and push for action"."I need to know you will take real action and let the rest of the school know that what happened is wrong and will not be tolerated. You need to protect us! This keeps happening!" wrote Ms Baey, appearing to address the university.

"I am extremely ashamed of what I have done and I am so sorry to have traumatised you in such a manner, nobody should ever have to go through such a traumatic experience," it continued.NUS said on Saturday that the NUS President will convene a committee to review the current disciplinary and support frameworks and expects to share the findings of the study and follow-up actions in the new academic year.

Omg. His sicko man. He need to be cane.

We don't fight for her today nobody's gonna fight for our children in future . Such a shame for judiciary justice in Singapore .

Why are they posting photos of victim

Who’s the peeping Tom? Is he some big shot’s Son?

It’s a no brainer. The guy needs to be jailed for committing a despicable act. What’s this rubbish 12 month conditional-warning by the SPF?

The victim is brave n courageous. Hope that justice must be done to the offender. NUS should treat the matter seriously n not treat it lightly so as to send a strong message to all perpetrators that they will face the music if they commit the offence.

NUS had no issues showing the name of the victim but not the peeping tom.

For those curious, this is Nicholas Lim the man who filmed her in the toilet. He is a student in Chemical Engineering if I am correct. We should be putting pictures of the offender instead of the victim. So here is a picture of the sex offender , who filmed someone showering

Why the photo of the victim?
