No train service on parts of North-South, East-West lines after power fault: SMRT

SINGAPORE: A power fault disrupted train services on parts of the North-South, East-West and Circle lines on Wednesday evening .

At about 8.15pm, SMRT said there is no train service between Serangoon and HarbourFront on the Circle Line. He also captured photos of staff manually opening the doors of a lift at Yew Tee station, allowing two people to exit.Commuter Julie Chan said the train stopped as it approached Kranji station on the North-South Line.

3hours, can take plane fly from Singapore to Bangkok to get mango sticky rice, eat finish and fly back, that's very bad at maintaining the service

What a shameful incident. Commuters were stuck on MRT train for 3 hours (reg AsiaOne). Head has to roll. Someone has to be responsible!

Incompetent SMRT staff is the cause of this mess.!
