SINGAPORE — A man accused of trespassing into Nanyang Technological University to take photographs of another man showering had his case heard in court on Wednesday .
On his last occasion of trespass into NTU property, he allegedly took two photos of another man showering at about 12.35pm. This constitutes a charge under the Protection from Harassment Act of causing distress or alarm to the man. Making obscene film at Jurong PointThe charges relating to Jurong Point amount to a breach of the Films Act, where Lau is accused of making an obscene film.
Then on 3 April this year, he returned to Jurong Point and allegedly made two more obscene films of him masturbating a man in a toilet at about 7.08pm and 7.30pm.For making an obscene film, he faces a fine of between $20,000 and $40,000 and/or a jail term of up to two years, if convicted for the first time.
